Healthy School Logo Building on our commitment to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and in line with our Healthy School Status we operate a packed lunch policy.

We will always encourage children to make healthy food choices and this extends to what food they bring to school in their packed lunch boxes. If you do elect to send your child in with a packed lunch we ask that you help us maintain our healthy school status by packing healthy and nutritious foods that are low in sugar.

Please include: -
  • At least one portion of fruit and/or vegetables
Do not include: -
  • Sweets
  • Chocolate or chocolate bars
  • Drinks (water is provided at the tables)

Our packed lunch policy is part of your child's PHSE education. Having a packed lunch policy not only gives our students a consistent message about what constitutes good nutrition it also helps prepare them to make healthy food choices later in life.
