Star Pupils December 2017
F2: Sophia for craftmanship in letter formation and sticking with it until she got it right! Niamh for commitment in all areas of her learning and consideration for her friends at all times. Yassin for settling into F2 and enjoying his first term at Woodbridge Primary School.
Y1: Hector for considerate problem solving! Whilst waiting for new whiteboard pens, Hector used his initiative to ensure everyone could get their learning done by sharing his own pen and patiently waiting to complete his own work. What a lovely friend! Alfie for always working hard in phonics, writing fantastic sentences and using his sounds brilliantly. Alex for great enthusiasm in the Nativity - wonderful actions and singing all the way through every rehearsal and performance - a true performer!
Y2: Alena for her commitment to learning. She always has a go at everything and made a super map of Poland at home. George and Lucy for always working hard and with great commitment. They both communicate well with their peers and are improving communication in writing. George for commitment in making our KS1 nativity a success and ensuring our Christmas poem was completed. Thank you for decorating the trees.
Y3: Harrison for increased confidence in all areas of curriculum and particularly in Maths when telling the time and Forest School sessions. Latisha for her confidence and enthusiasm when siging all the songs for the Christmas Concert. Sam for approaching all his learning with enthusiasm and a smile, even when it's tricky. We are very proud of you. Keep working hard.
Y4: Millie for always being calmly ready to help responsibly in all her tasks. She is always considerate and reliable and is a kind, caring superstar for us all in Year 4. Zack for trying hard to spell fifty-four words and getting many of them right! Real commitment! Samuel for commitment towards his learning. He has changed his attitude to a busy, concentrating, focused learner. He is attentive, kind and trying hard!
Y5: Alexis who has demonstrated ownership of her learning through commitment, dedication and perseverance especially when re-reading her writing to check it all makes sense - you go girl! Lara for being an all-round good egg! She is always kind and considerate to others, committed to her learning and communicates well to others, especially when working collaboratively. Eva has communicated her learning effectively and demonstrated commitment and perseverance, particularly in Maths. She tried hard with multiplication using the column method.
Y6: Harvey for super contributions to class discussions which show just how carefully he is thinking about his learning. Adam for showing such confidence and representing the school so brilliantly at the Sportshall Athletics Event. William for his outstanding contribution to the KS2 Christmas Celebration. He accompanied Year 3 on his flute and stepped in to help witha reading well as learning all of the Year 6 parts too!
Star of the Week
Of course, all of our pupils are stars to us, but every week the class teacher selects a student or two who has shone particularly brightly.
