Jo Ling

Teacher Jo Ling attended Ipswich High School and undertook a BA Hons degree in Modern Foreign Languages at Bristol University.

Jo then spent ten years living in Paris and working for Banque Paribas (now BNP Paribas) in the Capital Markets back offices and she was part of the team responsible for altering the computer system to manage the new currency, the Euro. Returning to England in 1998, Jo trained as a teacher in Sheffield, working there for two and half years. After her marriage she moved to Whitstable in Kent and continued teaching part-time while she had her two children. Jo and her family moved back to Suffolk in 2009 and Jo joined Woodbridge Primary School in 2011.

Jo enjoys music in all its forms, travelling, cooking, swimming and keeping up with the friends she has made in all the different places she has lived.

Claire Bradford

Teacher Claire Bradshaw was raised in Bedfordshire and went to Nottingham Trent University to study Media & Communication. She graduated in 1998 and took a gap year to travel round the world. On her return to the UK she became the producer of an internet start-up in Buckingham and after several years in this post she met her (teacher) husband. Claire then moved back to Nottingham where she undertook a Graduate Teaching Programme; Claire's first teaching post was at Repton Primary School as a Y1 class teacher.

In 2006 Claire had her first son and in 2009 her husband's job brought the family to Suffolk and she had her second son. Once settled in Woodbridge Claire began woking at Woodbridge Primary school doing PPA cover in the nursery, since then she has developed her role and now covers classes across the school.

Claire enjoys spending time with her family (particularly if it means going to the beach!) She also enjoys eating out and time spent catching up with her friends.

Suzanne Everitt

Teacher Suzanne Everitt earned a degree in Early Childhood Studies and a PGCE at the University of Leicester. She worked all the time she was studying, in various posts, but always with children at holiday clubs, after school clubs and in crèches.

Suzanne’s first teaching post was at Wickham Market County Primary School then she moved over to the nursery and became the foundation stage manager, where she gained Early Years Key Practitioner Status, where teachers came from different schools to observe and share good practice.

Suzanne took a short break from teaching to have her two sons and joined Woodbridge Primary School in 2010.

In her spare time Suzanne enjoys baking cakes, and running around after her children, (football, beavers, gymnastics, swimming...) When she can find the time she also enjoys Zumba, coffee mornings with friends and eating cake!

Tracey Watson-Brown

Teacher Tracy Watson-Brown has a degree in American studies and English Literature. After her degree studies Tracy completed her PGCE in Oxford before coming to Suffolk in 1992 to get married.

Tracy taught in Felixstowe before taking a break to raise her two sons, during this time she worked as a youth worker and children and family worker for the Salvation Army.

In her spare time Tracy likes to write poetry and has published four volumes. Her idea of a lovely time is a cup of tea in the sunshine (preferably while looking at the sea).

Avril Stacey

Learning Support Asst. Avril Stacey grew up in Wokingham and studied for her qualifications in childcare and education there.

Avril started as a play-worker in an after-school club and worked her way up to supervisor and child protection liaison officer. Alongside working at the after-school club, Avril worked part-time as a nursery nurse and early years teaching assistant. She eventually left the after-school club to work full-time as a nursery nurse and to continue her studies in child care, focussing on supporting children with learning difficulties.

Avril moved to Suffolk in 2011 and has worked at Woodbridge Primary school since 2012.

In her spare time Avril enjoys shopping, going on long walks with her dog and spending time with her friends and extended family. Avril makes the most of the holidays by returning to Berkshire to catch up with friends and family there.

Avril is dedicated student support (1:1)
