Dot Stanley

Teaching Assistant Dot Stanley has been working at Woodbridge Primary School since 1993.

Dot started her working life as an insurance specialist, initially with Guardian Royal Exchange then later with AA Insurance Services.

Dot's husband's job then took her to Cyprus and Oman and she had her two children. On their return to the UK both of Dot's children attended Woodbridge Primary School (and the Farlingaye High School).

In her spare time Dot does voluntary work, enjoys long walks, bird watching, reading, cooking and ballroom dancing.

"I really enjoy my job. The staff are very friendly and keen to do their best for all the children, which all goes to make for a very happy team which it is a pleasure to be a part of."

Kirsteen Torrance

Teaching Assistant Kirsteen Torrance trained as a textile designer at Leeds University.

Following university Kirsteen worked as a textile designer at a weaving mill in Huddersfield before moving to London to work in merchandising for Laura Ashley. Kirsteen then took a career break to raise her three children before returning to work at a local primary school.

Kirsteen and her family then moved to Suffolk and Kirsteen continued art classes as well as joining Woodbridge Primary school as the Y6 teaching assistant.

Kirsteen is the Art coordinator at Woodbridge Primary school
